If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Dewey in Culebra. Head southeast on PR-251 towards the airport. Once you reach the airport area, look for signs directing you to Flamenco Beach. Continue on the road until you see the sign for Playa Resaca Trailhead, which will be located on your left. The coordinates for the trailhead are approximately 18.3254625 latitude and -65.3028244 longitude. There is no parking fee for the trailhead, but be sure to park in designated areas.

Public Transportation

To reach Playa Resaca Trailhead via public transportation, take a local colectivo (shared taxi) from Dewey. Colectivos are available near the ferry terminal and charge around $3 to $5 per person depending on your destination. Inform the driver that you want to go to Playa Resaca Trailhead. The driver should know the location, but it’s good to have the coordinates (18.3254625, -65.3028244) handy. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance from the drop-off point to the actual trailhead.
