Getting There

• Walking

  From the main ferry terminal in Culebra, exit the terminal and head towards the main road, Route 251. Walk along Route 251 for about 1.5 miles until you reach a fork in the road. At the fork, keep left and continue following Route 251. After approximately another mile, you will see a sign for Playa Manzanilla. Follow the path to the beach, which will be about a 15-minute walk from the fork.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike rental in Culebra, start at the main ferry terminal. Head west on Route 251, cycling along the road which is relatively flat. After about 2.5 miles, you'll arrive at the fork. Take the left path at the fork and continue for another mile until you see the sign for Playa Manzanilla. The biking trail is scenic, and you will enjoy views of the surrounding landscape.

• Hiking

  For those feeling adventurous, you can hike to Playa Manzanilla from the main ferry terminal. Start by heading towards Route 251. Follow the road for about 1.5 miles until you reach a fork. Take the left side of the fork and continue straight for about a mile. Be prepared for some rugged terrain as you approach the beach. The last stretch may require some careful navigation, but the picturesque views make it worthwhile.

• Taxi or Ride-share

  While you may not have a car, you can easily catch a taxi or use a ride-sharing service from any point in Culebra. Simply tell the driver that you want to go to Playa Manzanilla. The ride is approximately 10-15 minutes from the ferry terminal, and the fare will typically range from $15 to $20. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
