Car
From El Yunque National Forest, head southwest on PR-191 towards PR-3. Continue on PR-3 for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection with PR-26. Merge onto PR-26 (also known as Avenida Luis Muñoz Marín) and follow the signs for Carolina. After approximately 4 miles, take the exit for PR-187 towards Carolina Beach. Continue on PR-187 for about 2 miles until you see signs for Carolina Public Beach. Follow the signs directing you to the beach parking area. Note that parking may incur a fee, so be prepared for potential costs.

Public Transportation
From El Yunque National Forest, the nearest bus stop is located at the entrance of the forest. Take the public bus (Route T5) towards Carolina. The bus will take you along the PR-3 highway. Get off at the Carolina Public Beach stop. Ensure you check the bus schedule beforehand to plan your trip, as service may be limited. The bus fare is generally around $1.50, but it is advisable to have exact change.
