Car
If you are driving, start from the main entrance of El Yunque National Forest. Head southeast on PR-191 until you reach the fork. Keep left to continue on PR-191, following signs for El Yunque. After about 4.5 miles, look for the signs for Charco El Hippie on Cam. La Planta. Turn left onto Cam. La Planta and continue for approximately 1 mile. You will find a small parking area near the entrance to the hiking path leading to Charco El Hippie.

To reach Charco El Hippie via public transportation, take a bus from San Juan to Naguabo. Look for the 'Caribbean Bus' or 'Publico' services. Once you arrive in Naguabo, you can take a taxi or a local van service (known as 'carros públicos') to Cam. La Planta. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Charco El Hippie.
