From the main entrance of El Yunque National Forest, drive towards Route 191. Continue on Route 191 for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 186. Turn left onto Route 186 and follow it for approximately 3 miles. You will then see signs for Polvorín de Santa Elena. Follow the signs, and after about 1 mile, you will arrive at the historical site, located at coordinates 18.4683, -66.1228.

If you are using public transportation, first take a bus from San Juan to the entrance of El Yunque National Forest. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or rideshare service to take you to Polvorín de Santa Elena, as public transportation does not directly serve this historical landmark.
