Getting There

    If you are in the center of Fajardo, start by walking towards the main road, Carr. 3. Head east until you reach the intersection with Carr. 987. Turn left onto Carr. 987. Continue walking along Carr. 987 for about 3 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the signs leading to 'Las Croabas'. After approximately 3 kilometers, look for a sign that says 'Reserva Natural Cabezas de San Juan'. The Pirate Snorkeling Shack is located at Carr. 987 Km 5.9, just a short walk from the entrance of the reserve.

  • Public Transportation

    From the main bus terminal in Fajardo, take the local bus that heads towards 'Las Croabas'. The bus fare is usually around $1.50. Inform the driver that you are going to 'Pirate Snorkeling Shack' or 'Reserva Natural Cabezas de San Juan'. The bus will take you directly along Carr. 987. Once you reach your stop, disembark and look for the signs leading to the Pirate Snorkeling Shack, which is located at Carr. 987 Km 5.9. It should be a short walk from there.
