If you are starting from the Fajardo Ferry Terminal, head southeast along Route 987. Continue straight for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Turn left onto Route 3 and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will see signs for Playa Sardinas II. Follow the signs and walk towards the beach area, keeping the coastline on your left. After another 0.2 miles, you will arrive at Hector El Protector located at 8M2X+752, near the Ferry Terminal.
