From the central area of Fajardo, head towards the main road, PR-3. Walk along PR-3 in the direction of the Fajardo Ferry Terminal. Continue walking for about 1 mile (approximately 20 minutes). As you approach the terminal, you will see signs for public transportation options. Look for a bus or shared taxi that can take you to San Juan. Ask the driver for the route that goes towards Hato Rey Norte, where the monument is located.

Once you reach the bus terminal near the Fajardo Ferry Terminal, board a bus heading to San Juan. Confirm with the driver that they will stop at Hato Rey Norte. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Hato Rey Norte, disembark at a stop nearest to Calle Juan Kalaf. From there, you can walk to the monument.

Walking
After getting off the bus, face towards Calle Juan Kalaf. Walk a few blocks until you reach the intersection with the monument. The Monumento al Papa Juan Pablo II will be visible at the end of the street, easily recognizable by its large statue. It should take you about 10 minutes to walk from the bus stop to the monument.
