If you are starting from the Plaza de Guánica, head southwest on Calle José de Diego towards Calle Pedro de Salcedo. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Av. José de Diego. Turn left onto Av. José de Diego and walk for about 0.5 miles (800 meters). You will see the coastline on your right as you approach the Malecón. Upon reaching the Malecón, turn right and walk along the waterfront for another 0.2 miles (300 meters). El Desafío Bar & Grill will be on your left at 59 Av. Esperanza Idrach.

If you are near the Guánica Lighthouse (Faro de Guánica), exit the lighthouse area and head east towards the main road, Av. José de Diego. Turn right and follow Av. José de Diego for approximately 0.7 miles (1.1 kilometers). As you walk, you will pass various shops and local attractions. After reaching the intersection with the Malecón, turn left and walk along the waterfront. El Desafío Bar & Grill will be on your left at 59 Av. Esperanza Idrach.
