Car

From the center of Luquillo, head west on PR-193 towards PR-3. Merge onto PR-3 North and continue for about 11 miles. Take the exit toward Carolina and merge onto PR-26. Continue on PR-26, and then take the exit for Isla Verde. Follow signs for Isla Verde and turn onto the Avenida Isla Verde. Continue straight until you reach Hobie Beach, which will be on your left.
Public Transportation

From Luquillo, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the 'Guagua' (public bus) heading towards San Juan. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Isla Verde. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Isla Verde, walk towards the beach area and follow the signs for Hobie Beach, which is located right off Avenida Isla Verde.
