Start at the Luquillo Bus Terminal located on Route 3. Take the public bus marked 'Carolina' or 'Fajardo' and ensure to inform the driver that you wish to get off at El Yunque. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the entrance of El Yunque National Forest, you will see a sign indicating the park entrance. From there, follow the signs to the visitor center.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Luquillo. Simply ask the driver to take you to El Yunque National Forest, specifically to the visitor center. If you are feeling adventurous and enjoy hiking, you can start your journey on foot from Luquillo. Head towards Route 3 and follow it northeast. It is approximately a 9-mile walk to the entrance of El Yunque. Be prepared for a lengthy trek and bring plenty of water and snacks.
