From your location in Luquillo, walk to the nearest bus stop on Route 3. Look for the bus marked 'Fajardo' or 'Ceiba'. Take the bus heading towards Fajardo. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Fajardo bus terminal, disembark and look for signs to Laguna Grande. It is about a 15-minute walk from the terminal. Head east towards Route 987, then follow the road until you see signs for Laguna Grande.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at Luquillo Beach and ride along Route 3 heading east. Continue for about 6 miles (10 km) to Fajardo. Once you reach Fajardo, keep an eye out for Route 987. Follow this road until you reach Laguna Grande, which will be on your left. The entire trip is scenic, with beautiful views along the way.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start your journey from Luquillo Beach. Head east along the coastline on the pedestrian path, which will eventually lead you to Route 3. From there, follow Route 3 north until you reach the bus terminal in Fajardo. This route is approximately 6 miles and will take around 2 hours. Once at the terminal, follow the previous directions to reach Laguna Grande.
