Getting There

Walking

If you are in central Luquillo, start by heading east on Calle 1 towards Avenida Luis Muñoz Marín. Walk until you reach the intersection with Avenida Luis Muñoz Marín and then turn left. Continue walking along Avenida Luis Muñoz Marín for about 1.5 miles. You will pass various shops and eateries along the way. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection with PR-987. Turn right onto PR-987 and continue walking for another 0.5 miles. Look for the entrance to Parque de Niños Activos on your left. The park is located at 9987+9WX, PR-987, Fajardo, 00738.
Public Bus

From central Luquillo, look for the local bus stop that services the Fajardo route. Board the bus heading towards Fajardo. The bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach PR-987, as the bus may not stop directly at the park. Once you get off, walk back down PR-987 for about 10 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Parque de Niños Activos on your left.
