Walking
If you are in the center of Luquillo, head northwest on PR-3 (Calle Luquillo) toward the beach area. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with PR-66. Turn left onto PR-66 and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will see signs for 'Isla Grande' and the direction to San Juan. Continue walking straight until you reach a bus stop. From there, you can catch a local bus heading towards San Juan. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop near Isla Grande.

From anywhere in Luquillo, locate the nearest bus stop on PR-3. Take a bus marked 'San Juan' or 'Carolina'. The fare is usually around $1.50. Inform the driver that you want to go to Isla Grande. Once you arrive at Isla Grande, get off at the closest stop and walk towards the beach area, following the signs for 'Wow Surfing School & Jet Ski'. It should be a short walk of about 10-15 minutes.
