Walking
From the heart of Old San Juan, start at Plaza de Armas, a central square filled with local shops and restaurants. Head southwest towards the waterfront along Calle San Francisco. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Fortaleza. Turn right onto Calle de la Fortaleza and walk towards the Paseo de la Princesa, a scenic promenade. Follow the promenade along the water until you reach the entrance to El Morro. You will see the iconic lighthouse and the massive fortification structure of Castillo San Felipe del Morro as you approach.

Walking
If you are starting from the cruise ship terminal in Old San Juan, exit the terminal and walk towards Calle 1. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida de la Constitución. Turn left on Avenida de la Constitución and walk until you see the entrance to the Castillo San Felipe del Morro. This route will take you directly along the scenic coastal path, giving you views of the Atlantic Ocean.

If you prefer public transport, take the public bus (the "AMA" bus system) towards Old San Juan and disembark at the stop closest to the Castillo San Felipe del Morro.
