If you are driving from the center of Sierra de Cayey, start by heading southeast on PR-1. Continue on PR-1 for about 20 minutes until you reach a fork in the road. Take the exit toward PR-14 South and follow PR-14 for another 15 minutes. You will pass through scenic areas, and you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Puerto Rico. After about 15 minutes, look for signs directing you to Patillas. Continue straight until you reach PR-3, where you'll turn left. Continue for approximately 5 minutes, and you will see signs for Charco Azul on your right. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the parking area.
