If you are traveling by car, start from the central area of Ponce. Take PR-1 North for about 25 miles until you reach the intersection with PR-30. Merge onto PR-30 and continue for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit for PR-3 towards Fajardo. Continue on PR-3 for about 15 miles until you reach Río Grande. Once in Río Grande, look for signs directing you to Playas del Yunque. The Santuario de la Bandera Puertorriqueña is located at 96WP+HHQ Playas del Yunque, which is near the coast. Parking is available nearby.

If you prefer public transportation, take a public bus from Ponce to Fajardo. Buses operate regularly and the fare is approximately $5.
