Getting There

Walking
If you're in the center of Luquillo, start at the Luquillo Plaza. Head east on PR-3 (Carretera 3) towards the beach. After about a 15-minute walk, you'll reach the intersection with PR-193 (Antigua PR-193). Turn left onto PR-193. Continue walking for approximately 5 minutes until you see signs for Playa Fortuna on your right. Follow the path leading to the beach.

Public Transportation
From Luquillo, walk to the nearest bus stop on PR-3 (Carretera 3) where you can catch the local bus (usually called 'guagua') heading to Fajardo. Inform the driver that you want to go to Playa Fortuna. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop near PR-193 (Antigua PR-193). From there, walk about 5 minutes down PR-193 to reach the beach entrance.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Luquillo Plaza and head east on PR-3. After about 15 minutes, you will reach PR-193. Turn left onto PR-193 and ride for another 5 minutes until you see the entrance to Playa Fortuna on your right. The bike ride should take approximately 20 to 25 minutes total.
