Car Rental
If you are renting a car, start from the main town of Isabel Segunda. Head east on PR-201 until you reach PR-200. Turn right onto PR-200 and continue for about 5 miles. Look for signs indicating the turn-off for the Spitting Cave, which is located on an unnamed road. You will need to drive down this unpaved road to reach the parking area near the cave. Please note that some sections may be rocky or uneven, so drive cautiously. There is no cost for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Spitting Cave via public transportation, catch a public 'guagua' (shared taxi) from Isabel Segunda heading towards the east side of the island. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Spitting Cave area. The fare is typically around $3-5 per person. After getting dropped off at the closest point, you may need to walk approximately 0.5 miles down a dirt path to reach the cave. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven.
Walking
If you are already nearby, you can walk to Spitting Cave. From the nearest road junction, follow the path leading south towards the coastline. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to stay on marked paths to ensure safety and respect the natural environment.
