Car

If you are driving, start from Esperanza, the main town in Vieques. Head north on PR-997 towards the intersection with PR-200. Turn left onto PR-200 and continue to follow the signs towards Mosquito. Once you reach Mosquito, look for the coordinates 4FPQ+F4C on your GPS, which will lead you to Rompeolas Vieques. Parking may be limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.

Public Transportation

To reach Rompeolas Vieques by public transportation, first take a public car (collectivo) from Esperanza to the main town of Isabel Segunda. From Isabel Segunda, you will need to transfer to another collectivo heading towards Mosquito. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at the location near 4FPQ+F4C. The total cost for the public transport will be approximately $2-3 per person. Be prepared for possible waiting times between transfers.

Bicycle

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Esperanza. Follow PR-997 north until you reach PR-200, then head east towards Mosquito. The ride is approximately 5 miles and will take about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. Be cautious of traffic, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Remember to wear a helmet and bring water.

Walking

For those who prefer to walk, you can start from Esperanza. It is about a 3.5-mile walk to Rompeolas Vieques. Follow the coastal road on PR-997 towards Mosquito.
