    If you are staying in Isabel Segunda, start by heading south on the main road, Calle Carlos B. Chardón. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Route 997, which is about 1 mile. At the junction, turn left onto Route 997. Follow Route 997 for approximately 2 miles. You will see signs for Vieques National Wildlife Refuge. The entrance will be on your right, just before you reach km marker 3.2. It’s about a 30-40 minute walk from Isabel Segunda.

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can make your way from any part of Vieques. Start by navigating to Calle Carlos B. Chardón and head south. Once you reach the junction with Route 997, turn left. Continue pedaling along Route 997 for about 2 miles until you see the entrance to Vieques National Wildlife Refuge on your right, just before km marker 3.2. This should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your speed.
