Walking
If you are staying in Isabel Segunda, start at the ferry terminal. Walk east along Calle Carlos LeBrun until you reach the intersection with PR-201. Continue on PR-201 for about 1.5 miles towards the east coast of Vieques. Look for signs directing you towards Playa La Chiva. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes. The beach will be at the end of the road.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Isabel Segunda. Begin at the ferry terminal and head east on Calle Carlos LeBrun, merging onto PR-201. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles. The route is mostly flat and should take around 15-20 minutes. Upon reaching Playa La Chiva, you can lock your bike at the designated area near the beach entrance.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Look for the local bus service known as the 'Guagua'. From Isabel Segunda, catch the bus heading towards the East End of the island. Inform the driver that you wish to visit Playa La Chiva. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes, and the driver will drop you off at the closest point to the beach. You may need to walk a short distance to reach the beach entrance.
Taxi
Find a taxi in Isabel Segunda, either at the taxi stand near the ferry terminal or by calling one of the local taxi services. Inform the driver that you want to go to Playa La Chiva. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis are a convenient way to reach the beach without having to walk or bike.
