Walking
If you are staying in the Isabel Segunda area, start by walking towards the ferry terminal. From there, take Calle Flamboyan, heading east. Follow this road as it turns into Calle E. At the intersection, turn left onto Calle 3. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Puerto Diablo Road (PR-200). Turn right onto Puerto Diablo Road and follow it until you reach Laguna La Plata Road. Turn left onto Laguna La Plata Road, and you will see the signs to Playa La Plata. The beach is a short walk from the road.

For those who prefer biking, rent a bike in Isabel Segunda. Head to PR-200 from Calle Flamboyan and make your way towards the southeast. Follow PR-200 until you reach the intersection with Laguna La Plata Road. Turn left onto Laguna La Plata Road. The beach will be on your right after a short distance. The bike ride is about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.

You can also take a taxi to Playa La Plata from any part of Vieques. If you are in Isabel Segunda, simply call a local taxi service or flag one down at a taxi stand. Provide the driver with the address 'Laguna La Plata Rd, Puerto Diablo, Vieques 00765.' The ride usually takes about 15-20 minutes, and the drivers are familiar with the area.

Check if there are any local guaguas (public vans) that run from Isabel Segunda or other towns to the beach. If available, catch one that goes towards Puerto Diablo and ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Laguna La Plata Road. From there, it’s a short walk to the beach.
