Getting There

Walking
From Al Khor Corniche, head southeast along the waterfront promenade towards the Al Khor Park. Keep walking straight until you reach the park entrance. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the Al Khor Museum, which is located near the center of the park. After visiting the museum, continue in the same direction until you see the road leading out of the park. Cross the road and follow it until you reach the intersection with Al Khor's main road (Qatar 5). From there, you can take a left and continue walking towards the Al Khor Coastal Road. Purple Island will be on your right, accessed via a small footpath that leads directly to the island.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Al Khor Corniche. Start from the Corniche and head towards Al Khor Park. Once you reach the park, cycle through the park towards the Al Khor Museum. After visiting the museum, exit the park and follow the main road (Qatar 5) towards the coastal road. Keep cycling along the road until you see signs for Purple Island. There should be a designated cycling path leading to the island.
