Getting there

Public Bus

From Al Khor city center, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the Al Khor Mall. Look for the bus heading towards Al Thakhira. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at the Farkiah Beach area. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. After you get off at the stop, walk towards the beach following the signs or local directions.

Bike Rental

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Al Khor. Start from the city center and follow the main road leading north towards Al Thakhira. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Farkiah Beach. The ride is approximately 5-7 kilometers and should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Once you approach the beach area, follow the paths leading directly to the beach.

Walking

If you're feeling adventurous and in good walking condition, start from the Al Khor Corniche. Head north along the waterfront and follow the pathway leading out of the city. It’s about a 5-6 km walk to Farkiah Beach, which should take roughly 1 to 1.5 hours. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the coast and follow any signs directing you towards the beach.

Taxi

Alternatively, you can take a local taxi from anywhere in Al Khor. Simply tell the driver 'Farkiah Beach' or show them the address: MG7M+PXG, Unnamed Road, Al Khor. The taxi ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. This is the most convenient option if you have luggage or prefer not to walk.
