Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Arcadia Management Area, head towards the Stepstone Falls area. Use the coordinates 41.6125, -71.7606 to guide you to the parking area. From the main entrance of Arcadia Management Area, drive south on Arcadia Road until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Turn left onto Route 3 and follow it for about 1 mile. Look for signs indicating Stepstone Falls on your right. There is a small parking lot available at the falls, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply during peak season.

• Public Transportation + Walking

  For those using public transportation, the nearest bus stop is located on Route 3. You may need to take a bus from Providence to West Greenwich, and then walk approximately 2 miles to reach Stepstone Falls. After getting off at the bus stop, head south along Route 3. When you reach the intersection with Arcadia Road, turn right and follow the road until you see the sign for Stepstone Falls. Please note that public transportation options may be limited, so check the schedule ahead of time.

• Walking from Nearby Trails

  If you are already hiking on the trails in Arcadia Management Area, you can access Stepstone Falls by following the marked hiking paths. From the main loop trail, look for signs directing you towards Stepstone Falls. The trails are well-maintained, but be prepared for a moderately challenging hike that may take 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Bring plenty of water and wear appropriate hiking shoes for a safe and enjoyable experience.
