Getting There

• Walking

  If you're already within Beavertail State Park, the Beavertail Aquarium is located along Beavertail Rd. Start at the main parking area of Beavertail State Park and head south towards Beavertail Rd. Walk along Beavertail Rd for approximately 0.5 miles. The aquarium will be on your left. Keep an eye out for the Beavertail Lighthouse, as the aquarium is located nearby.

• Biking

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent bikes at nearby locations in Jamestown. From the main parking area of Beavertail State Park, bike south along Beavertail Rd. The aquarium is approximately 0.5 miles down the road on your left. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all biking safety protocols.

• Car

  If you are driving, exit the main parking area of Beavertail State Park and head south on Beavertail Rd. The Beavertail Aquarium is located about 0.5 miles down the road on your left. There is no parking fee at the aquarium itself, but ensure to comply with any parking regulations in the state park.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, check for bus routes that service Jamestown and Beavertail State Park. The nearest bus stop is at the entrance of Beavertail State Park. From there, it is a short walk of about 0.5 miles south along Beavertail Rd to reach the aquarium. Note that public transportation may have limited schedules, especially on weekends.
