Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any point along the Blackstone River Bikeway, head towards the nearest major road. If you're near the northern section of the Bikeway, take the main path to exit towards Route 1. Follow signs for I-95 South. Continue on I-95 for approximately 5 miles, then take exit 29 for Route 1A toward Pawtucket. Merge onto Route 1A (also known as Roosevelt Avenue) and continue for about 2 miles. The Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park will be on your right at 65 Roosevelt Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park by public transportation, you can take the RIPTA bus service. Look for the bus route that connects to Pawtucket, such as Route 1 or 3. Board the bus at a convenient stop along the Bikeway. Ensure to check the RIPTA schedule for the most current times and routes. Once you arrive in Pawtucket, disembark at the nearest stop on Roosevelt Avenue, and walk approximately 0.2 miles to reach the park located at 65 Roosevelt Ave. Be prepared for a small fare for the bus ride, usually around $2.00.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle from the Blackstone River Bikeway, you can continue along the bikeway towards Pawtucket. Follow the signs directing you to the exit that leads to Roosevelt Avenue. This route is approximately 3 miles long. Once on Roosevelt Avenue, head south for about 1 mile. The park entrance will be on your left at 65 Roosevelt Ave. Ensure your bicycle is equipped with safety gear, and be aware of the traffic along Roosevelt Avenue.
