The Historic Gately Building: A Testament to Pawtucket's Rich Heritage

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Pawtucket Transit Center, exit the building and head southeast on Exchange Street toward Main Street. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and walk for about 0.2 miles. You will see the Gately Building on your right at 2 Bayley Street. It is located just off Main Street, so keep an eye out for Bayley Street.

• Walking

  From Slater Park, exit the park heading south on Park Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and walk north for about 0.5 miles. Then, turn right onto Bayley Street. The Gately Building will be located on your left at 2 Bayley Street.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  If you're near the Pawtucket Public Library, you can catch the RIPTA bus route 14 from the stop on Main Street. Ride the bus heading towards the Pawtucket Transit Center. Get off at the Bayley Street stop (which is just a short ride). Once you disembark, walk a short distance to your left to reach the Gately Building at 2 Bayley Street.

  From the Pawtucket City Hall, head west on Roosevelt Avenue. Take a right onto Main Street and continue for about 0.4 miles. Then turn right onto Bayley Street, and the Gately Building will be immediately on your left at 2 Bayley Street.
