From any location within Burlingame State Park, head southwest toward Rhode Island Route 1. Merge onto RI-1 N and follow it for approximately 12 miles. Take exit 1 for US-1 N toward Westerly. Continue on US-1 N for about 5 miles, then take a right onto Broad St. Wilcox Park will be on your left at 44 Broad St, Westerly, RI 02891. There is no entry fee to visit the park itself.
Public Transportation
From Burlingame State Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest public transportation hub, as there are no direct bus services from the park. The closest bus stop is located in Charlestown, approximately 10 miles away. From there, take the RIPTA Bus #66 towards Westerly. Disembark at the Westerly stop that is closest to Broad St. Walk east on Broad St for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach Wilcox Park at 44 Broad St, Westerly, RI 02891. Note that bus fares may apply, typically around $2 per ride.
