Walking
From the center of East Greenwich, head northeast on Main Street toward First Avenue. Continue on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 4. At the intersection, turn left onto Route 4 and follow the sidewalk. After approximately 1 mile, you will see signs for the bus stop to Providence. Take the RIPTA bus number 60 towards Providence. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once in Providence, disembark at the Kennedy Plaza stop. From there, Burnside Park is a short walk. Head west on Kennedy Plaza for about 0.1 miles; you will see Burnside Park on your right.
Public Transportation
To get to Burnside Park from East Greenwich, take the RIPTA bus number 60 from the East Greenwich Park & Ride. The bus will take you directly to Kennedy Plaza in Providence. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kennedy Plaza, Burnside Park will be right across the street. Walk just a few steps and you will see the park entrance.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, start from the center of East Greenwich and take Main Street northeast. Continue until you reach Route 4. Use the bike lanes along Route 4 heading towards Providence. Follow the signs for the bike route to Providence, which will take you along scenic paths. After approximately 3 miles, you will arrive in downtown Providence. As you approach Kennedy Plaza, look for Burnside Park on your right side. The entire biking journey should take around 25-30 minutes.
