From East Greenwich, head to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the RIPTA bus #66 towards Providence. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Kennedy Plaza' stop in downtown Providence. From there, walk north on Washington Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach North Main Street. Turn left on North Main Street, and the RISD Museum will be on your right at 20 N Main St.

Make your way to the East Greenwich train station located on First Avenue. Board the MBTA commuter rail heading toward Providence. The train ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Providence station, exit the station and head northwest towards the downtown area. Walk about 0.5 miles along the main roads until you reach North Main Street. Turn left on North Main Street, and the RISD Museum will be located at 20 N Main St.
