Walking
Start at the East Greenwich Town Hall located at 111 Main St, East Greenwich, RI. Head south on Main St toward Division St. Continue on Main St until you reach the intersection with South County Trail (RI-2). At this intersection, turn left onto South County Trail. After approximately 0.5 miles, you'll see a bus stop for the RIPTA Route 66 at the intersection with Route 1. Board the bus heading towards Wickford Junction. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, disembarking at the stop for Route 1 & Richard Smith Dr. From there, walk along Richard Smith Dr for about 0.3 miles. Smith's Castle will be on your left at 55 Richard Smith Dr, North Kingstown, RI 02852.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, begin at the East Greenwich Town Beach on First Ave. Head north on First Ave, then take a right onto Main St. Continue on Main St until it intersects with South County Trail (RI-2). Turn left and ride on South County Trail for about 1 mile. Look for the bike lane as you approach Route 1. At the intersection with Route 1, take the bike path along the road for about 0.7 miles, then turn left onto Richard Smith Dr. Smith's Castle will be located on your right at 55 Richard Smith Dr, North Kingstown, RI 02852.
Public Transportation
From the East Greenwich Train Station located at 1 Railroad Ave, take a bus on RIPTA Route 66 towards Wickford Junction. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop for Route 1 & Richard Smith Dr. From there, walk along Richard Smith Dr for about 0.3 miles. Smith's Castle is located at 55 Richard Smith Dr, North Kingstown, RI 02852, and will be on your left.
