    Car

    If you're driving from Warwick, start by heading north on Post Road (Route 1A). Continue on Post Road until you reach the intersection with Route 95 North. Merge onto Route 95 North and stay on it for about 10 miles. Take exit 22A toward Route 6 East. Follow signs for Route 6 East and merge onto it. After approximately 1.5 miles, take exit 2 toward Downtown Providence. Continue on Memorial Boulevard, then turn left onto N Main St. The RISD Museum will be on your right at 20 N Main St.

    Public Transportation

    To reach the RISD Museum using public transportation, start at the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus stop nearest to you. Take the Route 66 bus toward Providence, which should be available every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, then get off at the Kennedy Plaza stop in Downtown Providence. From there, walk north on Washington St, then turn right onto N Main St. The museum will be on your left at 20 N Main St.

    From Cranston, take Route 10 North toward Providence. Continue for about 6 miles until you reach the I-95 interchange. Merge onto I-95 North, then take exit 22A for Route 6 East. Proceed on Route 6 East for about 1.5 miles and take exit 2 toward Downtown Providence. Follow Memorial Boulevard, then turn left onto N Main St. The RISD Museum will be on your right at 20 N Main St.
