Getting There

  • Car

    From Narragansett Beach, take Ocean Road northbound. Continue for about 6 miles, and then turn left onto Route 1 North. After approximately 2 miles, take the exit toward Route 102/Exeter. Merge onto Route 102 North and follow it for about 3 miles. Queen's Fort will be on your right side. There is no parking fee at the site.

    From Narragansett Beach, take the R.I. Public Transit bus number 66 heading towards Wakefield. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Wakefield transit hub. From there, transfer to bus number 15 towards Exeter. Stay on this bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Route 102 and then walk approximately 0.5 miles north along Route 102 to reach Queen's Fort. The total bus fare is around $2.00.

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can cycle from Narragansett Beach to Queen's Fort. Start by heading north on Ocean Road, then take Route 1 North.
