If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto I-295 N from your location in Kent County. Depending on where you are, you may need to take local roads to access I-295. Stay on I-295 N for about 15 miles. Merge onto I-95 N toward Providence. Continue on I-95 N for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 22B for US-1 N toward Downtown. Once you exit, continue on US-1 N, which will turn into Washington St. Follow Washington St, which turns into Weybosset St. The Custom House will be on your right at 24 Weybosset St, Providence, RI 02903. Parking may be available on the street or in nearby parking garages, which may incur additional costs.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus service. Find your nearest bus stop and check for routes that head towards Providence. The R-Line, for example, connects various locations in Kent County to Providence. Get off at the Kennedy Plaza stop in Downtown Providence. From there, walk to Weybosset St, which is approximately a 5-10 minute walk.
