Public Bus
From Narragansett, head to the nearest bus stop on Boston Neck Rd (Route 1A). Take the RIPTA Bus #14 towards Newport. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Route 138 and Fort Wetherill Rd. From there, walk about 0.5 miles west on Fort Wetherill Rd to reach Fort Wetherill State Park.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Narragansett. Start by heading north on Ocean Rd, then take a left onto Route 138. Follow Route 138 for about 2 miles until you reach Fort Wetherill Rd. Turn left onto Fort Wetherill Rd and continue for about 0.5 miles to reach the park.
Walking
If you're up for a walk, start at the Narragansett Town Beach. Head north on Ocean Rd and then turn left onto Route 138. Walk along Route 138 for about 2 miles, following the pedestrian path. When you reach Fort Wetherill Rd, turn left and continue walking for another 0.5 miles until you arrive at Fort Wetherill State Park.
