Keep an eye out for signs pointing toward South Kingstown or Wakefield-Peacedale. As you emerge from the woods, you will find yourself on a road that leads directly to the Carter Jackson Monument located at South Kingstown, RI 02879.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Narragansett. Begin at Narragansett Town Beach and head south on the beachfront path. Continue along the coast until you reach the intersection with South Pier Road. Turn right onto South Pier Road and bike until you reach the intersection with Narragansett Avenue. Turn left onto Narragansett Avenue, and follow it to the beach. After enjoying the coastal views, take the public path leading inland that connects to the wooded area. For public transit, check the local bus schedules for service from Narragansett to Wakefield-Peacedale. Board a bus heading towards Wakefield and disembark at the South Kingstown stop.
