After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop near the Newport Visitor Center. From the Visitor Center, walk towards Washington Street and continue straight until you reach 1 Washington St, Newport, RI 02840. The Rose Island Lighthouse is located on the waterfront nearby.
Biking
For a more adventurous route, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Narragansett. Head north on Ocean Road, following the scenic coastline towards Newport. Once you reach the Newport Bridge, follow the bike path to the Newport waterfront.
