If you are driving, head towards Newport, RI. Take the exit for Route 138 East and follow signs for Newport. Once you reach the downtown area, look for Cliff Walk signs. There are several parking options along the way, including street parking and public lots. A good spot is the Easton Beach parking lot (approx. $10 for the day). From the parking area, walk towards the Cliff Walk entrance located at the intersection of Cliff Walk and Memorial Boulevard.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take the RIPTA bus #60 from Providence to Newport. The bus drops you off at the Newport Gateway Center. From there, transfer to bus #67, which will take you to Easton Beach. Once you arrive at Easton Beach, walk towards Cliff Walk, where you can find the entrance. Make sure to check the bus schedules as they may vary, and a one-way fare is around $2.00.
Walking from Nearby Locations
If you're already in the vicinity, you can easily walk to the Cliff Walk from popular spots like The Breakers or the Newport Mansions. From The Breakers, head south on Ochre Point Avenue until you reach the Cliff Walk entrance at Memorial Boulevard. It's approximately a 15-minute walk with beautiful scenery along the way.
