If you are driving from downtown Newport, start by heading south on Thames Street towards Memorial Blvd. Continue straight onto Ocean Ave, which will turn into Ocean Drive. Follow Ocean Drive for about 2 miles, and you will see the entrance to Brenton Point State Park on your right. Look for the parking area at the entrance.
