Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by getting onto US-1 S from your current location. Follow US-1 S for approximately 15 miles until you reach the exit for RI-138 E towards Newport. Merge onto RI-138 E and continue for about 6 miles. Once you approach the Newport area, take the exit for RI-238 S. After merging onto RI-238 S, continue until the road ends at a roundabout. Take the second exit onto America's Cup Avenue. Continue on America's Cup Avenue until you reach Bowens Landing. Gansett Cruises will be located on your right at 2 Bowens Landing.

• Public Transportation

  If using public transportation, head to the nearest bus stop serviced by the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA). Check the schedule for Bus Route 60, which travels from Providence to Newport. Once aboard, stay on the bus until you reach the last stop in Newport, which is at the Newport Gateway Center. From the Newport Gateway Center, it is about a 10-minute walk to Gansett Cruises. Head west on America’s Cup Avenue, and take a left onto Bowens Landing. Gansett Cruises will be located at 2 Bowens Landing. Alternatively, you can use a rideshare service from the Gateway Center to your destination.
