    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are in downtown Pawtucket, start at the Pawtucket City Hall located at 137 Roosevelt Avenue. Head south on Roosevelt Avenue towards the train tracks. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto Main Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Pawtucket Train Station. From the station, you can take the MBTA commuter rail towards Boston, which will take you to Providence Station. Once at Providence Station, follow the signs to the bus terminal located adjacent to the train station. Take a Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus number 60 towards Newport. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Newport Visitor Information Center stop, which is located at 21 Long Wharf Mall.

    Public Transit

    From the Pawtucket Transit Center, located at 1000 Main Street, board a RIPTA bus number 22 towards Newport. The bus will take you directly to the Newport area, and after about an hour on the bus, you will arrive near the Newport Visitor Information Center. Once you get off, walk approximately 5 minutes southeast along Long Wharf to reach the Visitor Center at 21 Long Wharf Mall.
