Bus
From Pawtucket, head to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the RIPTA bus Number 60 towards Newport. Stay on the bus until you reach the Newport Gateway Center bus terminal. From there, transfer to the Number 67 bus towards Fort Adams State Park and get off at the stop for Washington Square. From Washington Square, walk about 0.3 miles (approximately 6 minutes) east on Washington Street, and you will arrive at Hunter House, located at 54 Washington St, Newport, RI 02840.

If you are within walking distance in Pawtucket, start at the Pawtucket City Hall. Head south on Main Street, then turn left onto Exchange Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with Broadway. Turn right onto Broadway and continue straight until you reach the bus station. From there, follow the bus instructions above or ask locals for the best way to reach Newport.

If you have a bike, you can ride from Pawtucket to Newport. Start by heading south on Main Street toward the bike path on the east side of the Blackstone River. Follow the bike path to the south until you reach the Newport Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, follow signs to Newport, which will lead you to Washington Street. Hunter House will be at 54 Washington St, just a short ride from the bridge.
