If you're driving, head towards Newport by taking I-95 South from Providence. After about 30 miles, take exit 3A to merge onto RI-4 South toward Newport. Continue on RI-4 South until it merges into US-1 South. Follow US-1 and then take RI-138 East towards Newport. Continue on RI-138, crossing the Newport Bridge. After crossing, follow the signs to downtown Newport. Hunter House is located at 54 Washington St, Newport, RI 02840. There is limited street parking available, and some metered parking may cost around $1.50 per hour.
