Getting There

• Walking

  From downtown Providence, head south on Washington Street toward Exchange Street. Continue straight onto the pedestrian-friendly Weybosset Street. Turn right onto Dorrance Street and follow it as it becomes Memorial Boulevard. Stay on Memorial Boulevard until you reach the intersection with the Newport Bridge. From there, you can catch a local bus (Rhode Island Public Transit Authority) that goes directly to Newport. Get off at the stop closest to Touro Street. Walk west on Touro Street until you reach 51 Touro St, where Queen Anne Square is located.

• Public Transit

  Start at the Providence Station. Take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority bus from the station heading towards Newport. Ensure you board a bus that has a stop at 51 Touro St or the closest stop. Once you arrive in Newport, you may need to walk a short distance to reach Queen Anne Square. Navigate your way to Touro Street and head west until you reach the square.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can take advantage of the bike paths connecting Providence to Newport. Start from downtown Providence and take the bike path south toward the waterfront. Follow the signs leading to the East Bay Bike Path, which will take you through scenic areas. Once you reach Newport, use local bike lanes to navigate to Touro Street. Once there, head west on Touro until you arrive at Queen Anne Square.
