Start at the Rhode Island State House, located at 82 Smith Street, Providence. Exit the State House and head northwest on Smith Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with North Main Street. Turn left onto North Main Street and continue walking for about 0.6 miles. You'll pass through a residential area with shops and cafes. When you reach the intersection with Pleasant Street, turn right. Follow Pleasant Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Pawtucket Avenue. Turn left onto Pawtucket Avenue. Continue for about 0.5 miles. You will see signs for the Blackstone River State Park, where Pawtucket Falls is located. Follow the park signs to access the falls.

From Downtown Providence, locate the nearest bus stop for RIPTA (Rhode Island Public Transit Authority). You can take Bus 1 (Broadway) from Kennedy Plaza. Board the bus and stay on for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop on Pawtucket Avenue near the intersection with Pleasant Street. Walk along Pawtucket Avenue heading north for about 0.5 miles. Follow the signs towards Blackstone River State Park to reach Pawtucket Falls.
