    If you're driving, get onto US-1 South from your location in South County. Continue on US-1 for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit toward RI-108 East/Narragansett. Follow RI-108 East until you reach the intersection with Ocean Road. Turn left onto Ocean Road and follow it for about 2 miles. You'll see signs for Scarborough State Beach; continue past the beach entrance. After passing the beach, look for a small parking area on the right side. Park there, and take the footpath leading to Black Point Ruins, which is about a 15-minute walk from the parking area.

    To reach Black Point Ruins via public transportation, start by taking the RIPTA bus Route 14 from any main bus stop in South County towards Narragansett. Disembark at the bus stop near Scarborough State Beach. From there, walk towards Ocean Road. Head south on Ocean Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Scarborough State Beach. Continue walking past the beach entrance. Look for the small parking area on the right; from here, take the footpath leading to Black Point Ruins, which is about a 15-minute walk. Note that the bus fare is approximately $2.00.
