If you are driving from any location in South County, head northeast on RI-1 North (also known as the South County Freeway) towards Newport. Continue on RI-1 North for about 15 miles. Take the exit for RI-138 East toward Newport. Merge onto RI-138 East and continue straight for about 3 miles. Follow signs for Newport and merge onto J.T. Connell Highway. Continue on the highway until you reach the city center. Turn left onto Broadway, then turn right onto Perry Street. The Isaac Bell House will be on your right at 70 Perry St, Newport, RI 02840. Parking is available on the street but may require payment at certain hours.

To reach the Isaac Bell House using public transportation, take the RIPTA bus service (Rhode Island Public Transit Authority) Route 14 from various locations in South County, such as Wakefield or Narragansett. The bus will take you towards Newport. You will need to get off at the Newport Gateway Center. From there, transfer to the local trolley service (The Newport Trolley) which can take you to the area near Perry Street. Get off at the stop closest to Perry Street and walk a short distance along Perry Street to reach the Isaac Bell House at 70 Perry St, Newport, RI 02840.
