    If you are driving from the center of South County, take Route 1 North (Post Road) toward Westerly. Continue on Route 1 for about 10 miles until you reach the exit for Route 78 East. Follow Route 78 East for approximately 3 miles, then turn left onto Bay Street. Follow Bay Street until it ends, then turn right onto Lighthouse Road. The Watch Hill Lighthouse will be on your left at 14 Lighthouse Rd, Westerly, RI 02891. There is limited parking available near the lighthouse, so please arrive early if you’re visiting during peak times.

    To reach Watch Hill Lighthouse using public transportation, you can take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus service. Board the bus route 66 from South County (South Kingstown area) towards Westerly. Get off at the 'Westerly Post Office' stop. From there, it is approximately a 1.5-mile walk to Watch Hill Lighthouse. Head southeast on Franklin Street, turn right onto Beach Street, and continue until you reach Lighthouse Road. Turn left onto Lighthouse Road, and the lighthouse will be on your right at 14 Lighthouse Rd. Please check the RIPTA schedule for the latest bus times and plan your trip accordingly.
